Biography

Pulitzer-Prize-Winning poet and Librarian of Congress Maxine Kumin is the author of ten books of poetry, including Selected Poems 1960-1990 (WW Norton); a memoir, Inside the Iron Halo and Beyond: A Journal of a Recovery (WW Norton 2000), and a book of essays, Always Beginning: Essays on a Life in Poetry (Copper Canyon, 2000).
